A vast disparity in injuries will be on display Monday night when the Portland Trail Blazers continue their seven-game trip at the Orlando Magic.

The Magic’s injury list consists of three G League-assigned players while the Blazers list eight players with six being out and two doubtful.

Jerami Grant (right hamstring, strain) and Justin Minaya (right ilium, contusion) are doubtful.

Re-joining the list of those out is Toumani Camara, who is now done for the season with a broken rib that occurred during Wednesday’s loss at the Atlanta Hawks.

The Blazers matched their longest losing streak of the season (nine) with Friday’s 142-82 loss at the Miami Heat.

Prediction: The Magic sit in fifth place in the Eastern Conference between the fourth-place New York Knicks (44-30) and the sixth-place Indiana Pacers (42-33). The Magic have a two-game lead over seventh-place Miami (41-33). Losing to the Blazers is not something the Magic could afford.

The Blazers’ nine-game losing streak has them in position to potentially fall further in the overall NBA standings. The Blazers have the fifth-worst record in the league just one game ahead of the Charlotte Hornets (18-56). The Blazers play at the Hornets on Wednesday night.

Furthermore, the Blazers have just a 1 1/2-game lead over the San Antonio Spurs (18-57), owners of the third-worst record in the NBA.

Based on the Blazers’ recent history, expect them to do what it takes to fall as far as possible.
