The Oregon State offense got its groove back Monday night in Corvallis.

Six different players drove in multiple runs and the fifth-ranked Beavers rolled to a 14-0 shutout of the Gonzaga Bulldogs in a nonconference baseball matchup in front of 3,528 at Goss Stadium.

The scoring barrage followed consecutive losses against USC last week in which the Beavers (22-4) put up just one and four runs, easily the most meager two-game total of the season for a team that has now scored 10 runs or more runs in 12 of 26 games.

As the Beavers returned home to start a nine-game homestand, their bats erupted for 13 hits. Meanwhile, four OSU pitchers combined for 13 strikeouts and allowed just four hits against the Bulldogs (7-17).

Gavin Turley finished with three RBIs, while Travis Bazzana, Tyce Peterson, Mason Guerra, Elijah Hainline and Canon Reeder had two apiece.

Bazzana hit a towering two-run homer to center field in the bottom of the eighth inning that punctuated the victory. His 16th home run of the season was measured at 452 feet, with an exit velocity of 109 mph. The Beavers’ leadoff man also walked four times.

Peterson also belted a two-run homer as part of Oregon State’s six-run sixth. Wilson Weber had a career-high three hits, including a double, and scored four times.

OSU starter Eric Segura (5-0) struck out six while allowing three hits across five innings. Relievers AJ Hutcheson, Kellan Oakes and Joey Mundt then combined to keep the Zags of the board the rest of the way for the Beavers’ third shutout of the season.

Gonzaga starter Miles Gosztola (0-2) took the loss after surrendering three runs on five hits in 3 2/3 innings. Gosztola struck out seven but walked four.

The Beavers improved to 12-0 at home this season and extended their home winning streak to 15 games.

Next up: Oregon State and Gonzaga conclude their two-game series at 6 p.m. PT Tuesday (Pac-12 Networks).
