Taliese Fuaga is consistent. The former Oregon State Beavers offensive tackle has been projected as a first-round pick in nearly every mock of the 2024 NFL draft. NFL Mock Draft Database projects him going as high as No. 8 down or as low as No. 22.
Cbssports.com’s Ryan Wilson posted his latest mock draft Tuesday morning, and he’s high on Fuaga. Wilson projected Fuaga going to the Pittsburgh Steelers at No. 20 in the first round.
“Taliese Fuaga could be long gone by the time the Steelers are on the clock. But if he’s here, this would be a layup; he can be the starter at right tackle while last year’s first-rounder, Broderick Jones, can move over to the left side, where he played at Georgia.”
The Steelers brought in two new quarterbacks in Russell Wilson and Justin Fields as the replacements to Kenny Pickett and Mason Rudolph. Job 1 is to improve the offensive line to help the new quarterbacks. The Steelers also need a center, but the tackle positions are more of a priority.
