Portland real estate developer Jordan Schnitzer will give $10 million to Portland State University to build a new home for the university’s art and design school and sustain the on-campus art museum that bears his name.
The school announced Tuesday that $5 million will go toward the construction of the new building at the southern edge of the South Park Blocks. The program it houses will be renamed the Schnitzer School of Art + Art History + Design.
