A shooting in Southeast Portland Monday left one person dead and another injured, police said.
Police responded to a shooting in the 9900 block of Southeast Stark Street, in the Hazelwood neighborhood, around 5:35 p.m., the Portland Police Bureau said. They found one person dead and another with life threatening injuries. They did not find the suspects, police said.
Police did not release the names of the victims or provide any other details about them.
The killing is Portland’s 23rd homicide this year.
