State title defenses don’t often come without their pitfalls.
Sheldon senior Kinley Pappas is learning just that this March. A first team all-state catcher for the Irish’s softball team, Pappas is one of several key contributors who will make up the core of this year’s group as they attempt to one-up a Class 6A championship last season, in which the Irish pulled out a 1-0 victory over Oregon City.
