To save Rose City Book Pub, patrons are offering up whatever they can for an auction

Rose City Book Pub, in Northeast Portland’s Sabin neighborhood, started as a bar, restaurant and used bookstore – but it’s evolved into an arts venue and beloved community living room.

Which helps explain why, when patrons heard their neighborhood pub was struggling financially, they jumped into action.
