Tiger Woods’ new logo receives negative reviews on social media

Tiger Woods will debut his new logo and apparel line on Thursday at Genesis Invitational golf tournament at the Riviera Country Club in Los Angeles.

The star golfer gave the world a glimpse of his new “Sun Day Red” logo and apparel line on Monday, but he’s expected to wear the logo at the tournament, his first competitive tournament in 2024.

Woods’ new logo and apparel are the first products under a new partnership with TaylorMade Golf after 27 years with Nike. Woods’ partnership with Nike ended in December.

Woods has worn a red shirt – or a variation of the color red – on Sundays during his entire career. He has said that his mother Kutilda, who was born in Thailand, indicated the color brings him power. The new logo is of a tiger with 15 stripes, representing the 15 major championships he has won during his career.

Woods apparently will no longer wear the iconic “TW” logo.
