Readers respond: Punish graffiti offenders with cleaning

Letters to the editor

I am in full support of Rep. Travis Nelson and his efforts to improve how we deal with the plethora of graffiti turning our beautiful city into a blighted mess, (“Readers respond: Cleanups must be effective and sustainable,” March 20).

I read a story about how one of the most prolific of these graffiti painters (not artists by any stretch of the imagination) was apprehended and released with barely a slap on the wrist.
