The Portland Trail Blazers traveled to Miami defeat loss short of matching their longest losing streak of the season.

The Blazers have lost eight consecutive games. Their longest streak is nine, which went down from Feb. 2 through Feb. 27. The final loss came at home against the Heat. Before that run of futility, the Blazers had an eight-game losing stretch from Nov. 5 through Nov. 21.

The losing will likely continue unless the Blazers get back some impact veterans. Deandre Ayton and Matisse Thybulle are questionable. Jerami Grant is doubtful.

Anfernee Simons is out. And so is Toumani Camara.

Prediction: The Heat have injury issues of their own. But Bam Adebayo and Terry Rozier are available while Jimmy Butler is probable. They will be the best three players on the court. Heat win.
