The No. 5 Oregon State Beavers look to shake off back-to-back losses as they host the Gonzaga Bulldogs on Monday night at Goss Stadium in Corvallis.
It’s the opener of a two-game series that begins a stretch of nine consecutive home games for the Beavers.
Oregon State is coming off two rough games against USC, with the Beavers falling 2-1 on Thursday before getting blasted 17-4 on Friday. Rain washed out the series finale on Saturday.
The losses to the Trojans left the Beavers to drop three spots to No. 5 in this week’s D1baseball.com rankings.
The Beavers will try to turn things around against a Gonzaga team coming off consecutive losses to Saint Mary’s. The Zags were blanked 14-0 in Saturday’s series finale against the Gaels.
