The No. 2 Oregon State Beavers will look to get their offense rolling as they visit the USC Trojans on Friday night at Cicerone Field in Irvine, California.
It’s the second outing of a three-game series, and the Beavers hope to bounce back after dropping the opener 2-1 on Thursday night. Oregon State managed just four hits and stranded eight runners as the Trojans scored the winning run on Brayden Dowd’s single in the bottom of the ninth inning.

This and that: Oregon State entered this series averaging nearly 10 runs per game but mustered just one against the Trojans in the opener. … Travis Bazzana saw his streak of leadoff home runs snapped at four games, but the OSU second baseman did extend his hitting streak to seven games with a single in the third inning. … Gavin Turley has hit a home run in three consecutive games. His solo shot in the seventh on Thursday was the 20th of his OSU career. He trails Garret Forrester (2021-23) for 10th place on the Beavers’ all-time list.
