Foundations announce cash infusion for Oregon’s struggling arts organizations

Two foundations will give a combined $40 million to support Oregon’s arts and culture nonprofits over the next three years.

At a news conference Wednesday, the Oregon Community Foundation and the James F. and Marion L. Miller Foundation jointly announced a significant funding boost for the state’s arts ecosystem, coming on the heels of an $11.8 million funding package from the Oregon Legislature earlier this month.
